About
Kidz Construction Crew is a LEGO® Brick Building workshop that offers various classes in building techniques using LEGO® Bricks. Classes run 10 to 12 weeks at a time during the school calendar and focus on teaching participants to build without using written instructions. Students may build from their imagination, using photos/pictures as a template or ideas given by the instructor. Everyone is encouraged to collaborate in partners and teams to increase their knowledge of building skills and to share ideas. Students will work on individual, partner and group projects during their time in classes. Special summer workshops are also offered. They run for one week at a time and focus on specific skill building techniques.

Classes are open to children age 6+ or entering grade 1. All classes are multi-age to encourage sibling groups to attend together. You will need to download Zoom as an app to participate in current classes.
The instructor has 20+ years of experience working with children as a child/youth care worker,teaching assistant, drama coach, and many other volunteer settings with children.
Classes include children of all abilities and activities are adapted as needed for various skill levels and learning needs.
Kidz Construction Crew also does workshops for schools, birthday parties and community events.

Agrifair 2020
Agrifair 2020 is hosting a drive through event this year on July 31st, August 1st and 2nd from 10 am to 6 pm and Kidz Construction Crew will be on site along with Brickville Designworks and AbbyLUG to hand out new sealed polybags with a small building kit inside. Kids 12 and under will receive a free kit as they drive past our booth! For tickets to the event, please check out the following link!
